Aluminium 7075 square bars are composed primarily of aluminium with approximately 90-92% aluminium content. They also contain alloying elements like 5.6-6.1% zinc, 2.1-2.5% copper, 1.2-2.0% magnesium, and small amounts of silicon, iron, chromium, and titanium. This alloy offers excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, exceptional hardness, and good machinability. The addition of zinc and copper significantly enhances its tensile strength and fatigue resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring high performance and durability, such as aerospace and structural applications.
