Aluminium 7075 Chequered Plates are made from an alloy primarily composed of 87.1-91.4% aluminium, with significant additions of zinc (5.1-6.1%), magnesium (2.1-2.9%), and smaller amounts of copper, chromium, and silicon. This composition provides excellent strength, comparable to steel, along with high resistance to fatigue and stress corrosion. The mechanical properties of 7075 include a tensile strength of 570-700 MPa, yield strength of 490 MPa, and elongation of 11-14%. The chequered pattern enhances slip resistance, making it ideal for demanding applications in aerospace, marine, and automotive industries.
